Melrose Bay Gallery is a co-op of artists, all of whom share a voice in making decisions and managing the business aspects of the gallery. Membership in the gallery is limited; artists who are interested in becoming members can apply by contacting the gallery.

Participating Members comprise the core of the gallery and each has a vote, pays dues, and assumes responsibility for some part of the management.

Associate Artists are invited to show their work in the gallery and are asked to volunteer some time and energy to events, openings, and keeping the gallery open.

Affiliate Artists are former members who have contributed significantly to the success and direction of the gallery, but are no longer active in gallery management.

Friends of the Gallery are the valued supporters and patrons of Melrose Bay Gallery who help keep us going! Financial donations from Friends of the Gallery can be allocated to special projects, to sponsoring the promotion of monthly shows, or simply to helping us thrive and grow in the local and regional art community. Friends of the Gallery are invited to exhibit previews, special events, and receive postcards and notices of all events at the gallery.
