The larger framed piece is "The Pass Between Santa Fe Lake and Melrose Bay, Florida." Media is photography, edited in Photoshop and printed using solvent-based inkjet on canvas. Measures 25x52" and priced at $750.00
The smaller framed photos are from Jeff's 25-year photo retrospective, October, 2008. Prices range from $40-60 each. Over 95% of that exhibit's photos were originally shot on color slide film (Kodachrome mostly). The films were scanned at high resolutions then painstakingly edited in Photoshop before being printed by a professional lab on Kodak Endura metallic photo-paper, giving an extra glow to their appearance.
This shows how Jeff treats the photographic medium, as it allows time-based experimentation with light and color, shadows and space. Adding Photoshop digital software to the mix is merely adding another tool in the post-darkroom age we are now in.
